My card is not expired but I cannot get the sign in to allow me to sign in.

Hi!  Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.  There could be several reasons that you cannot log in to your library account or onto one of our subscription databases. Other than having an expired account, the following are the most common:

  • Using the incorrect PIN, or not having a PIN connected to your account
  • Your account may be blocked due to having unpaid fines
  • Your account may be blocked if we have received notice that your personal information is incorrect (address, phone, etc)

In order for us to help you, we will need to speak with you personally to look up your account.  You can either stop by your closest branch, or call us at 402-444-4809.  If you choose to call, we can look up your account information and determine the problem.  However, if your PIN needs to be reset, we ask that you do that in person, so as to protect the security of your account.

When you stop by or call, we'll just need your barcode on the back of your library card and your name, and we'll find out what's up!
