Answer

Yes, we do! You can see this book in our catalog here. It is a reference item in our Genealogy Room at the W. Dale Clark (Main) Library, 215 S. 15th St., Omaha. Are you able to come downtown to look at it? If you do not live in Omaha, another possibility is to request copies of the pages of interest via interlibrary loan through your local library.

Best wishes,

Martha/Main Library

  1. Re the Bremen to America book above--how many pages and does it have "monographs" or chapters for different years? Is it available for "interlibrary loan" to

  2. It is 35 pages long. It is basically 14 passenger lists, one after another, all from 1850. They were abstracted from a weekly newspaper from Rudolstadt, Thuringia, entitled Allgemeine Auswanderungs-Zeitung. It is non-circulating, so we can't lend the book through interlibrary loan. If you are interested in one particular list, you could request a photocopy of it through interlibrary loan.
    Hope this helps!
