Q

Cannot find a book now, that I had found last month.

I put a book on hold for my son, but could not get it in time. It went into "mending" and I was going to put it back on hold or find it to get it. When I did a search for it on the website I cannot find it anymore. The book is called Raptor Red by Robert Bakker. Please advise, thank you!

Answer

I checked on the status of this book. Unfortunately it was in poor condition and the decision was made to weed this book from the collection. It was our last copy. Your best options for obtaining a copy are going to be to either purchase the book online from a book dealer or request it via Interlibrary Loan from us. To complete an Interlibrary Loan request you would need to come into your local Omaha Public Library branch location and speak to a librarian. We can check on the book's availability from other library systems. There is a fee for this service. You would pay return postage not to exceed $7.00. Most of the time it's more in the $3 to $4 range. Please contact your local Omaha Public Library branch for further information. Thank you for using AskOPL.
