When do you send out a notice your book is in and how many days do you have to pick it up?
Thanks for asking! If you have an email address associated with your account, you will usually receive a hold notification within a few hours of the book arriving, almost always by the following day. If we have only a phone number on file, it may take a couple days for the slower automated phone notification to come through. You can also check your account online, call your neighborhood library or our Main Library at 402-444-4800; we'll be happy to check the status of any requests for you. Once a requested book arrives for pickup, it will stay on hold for about 7 days. (That gets a little squishy if there are days where the library is closed, weekends, holidays, etc. Your online account will always show an accurate date for how long the book will be on hold.)
To move from the general to the specific, it appears that there is an item on hold for you at the Abrahams branch library that arrived 6/20. It should be on the hold shelf there through Monday 6/27.
