I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems!  Unfortunately, it's hard for us to know the exact problem from your description.  It could be a temporary problem with the page for that particular title on Amazon.

You should be using your browser first to navigate our website, which should then take you to the Amazon download page.  Once you hit the 'Send to your iPad' button in the browser, it should be able to be picked up by your Kindle iPad app at that time.  At least that's the way it's supposed to work!

You can always check your Amazon account to see what is currently checked out under the 'Manage Your Kindle' heading.  If for some reason the title you're trying to get is on there without you actually having downloaded it you can use that page to check it back in.

Without knowing more about the specifics of your situation it's hard to give you a definite solution, but luckily there's more help.  We have quite a few free programs about e-readers at a variety of our locations (including both Kindle Basics and iPad Basics), plus detailed instructions for Kindle users and iPad users, all listed on this web page.
