Have you registered for the Summer Reading Program? Just ignore this first bit if so!

To register, you would start here: and choose Kids if you are going into 6th grade or below, Teens if going into 7th grade or higher. On the next screen, fill in your library card number and PIN. Then you will land on a screen that looks like this (more or less):

SRP Registration

Fill in the requested information.  You will immediately be awarded your first badge, and will see something like this screen (but with your own user name, of course!):

SRP Page

You win prizes by reading for at least 10 hours. You can add in your hours by clicking on the blue box (above) that says "+Add Reading Time." You can win even more prizes by earning badges. Some of them you earn automatically by signing up or finishing your first book. Others you can earn by doing specific things online or by attending library programs. Click on the tab that says "Earn Badges" to see more details about that.

If you'd like to keep track of the books you have read during the Summer Reading Program, you can add books to your summer reading "shelf" by clicking on "add a title" under "My Shelf."

Finally, any time you are logged in but don't see where to enter your reading hours, just click on your little avatar (yours will look different from mine, and you can customize it) up at the top, and that will open the screen where you can log your time.

When you're on this screen, don't be afraid to click around and see what happens! Also, if you'd like to call or come in to one of the OPL branches, we would be happy to walk you through it.

I hope this helps!
