Q

For which years are old phone books (Omaha) available, at which library and in what format (original, microfiche, etc).

In particular, I am looking for white pages of phone books for years 1961 to 1967.

Answer

Both phone books and city directories are available in print for those years at the W. Dale Clark (Main) Library. We have the city directories for every year they were published, beginning in 1866 up to current; phone books go back to about 1925.  The city directories are also available on microfilm, also at the downtown branch (3rd floor).

Feel free to call the reference desk on 3rd floor at 402-444-4826!
