Our server crashed early yesterday morning and caused a lot of database disruption, but it should be working now. Try emptying your computer's cache/history and try again (don't go through a saved bookmark, but access via omahalibrary.org/resource center).

The book would not be available via interlibrary loan because it is too new, but I found a link where you can download it as a pdf here: http://www.nap.edu/catalog/18748/dying-in-america-improving-quality-and-honoring-individual-preferences-near

For the journals, I think you will find some of them in OPL databases. To search for individual journals, you can use SerialSolutions in the OPL Resource Center. (See below.) There you can search for a journal title and find out whether it is included in one of our databases or if we have physical holdings of it (we won't have physical copies of any of these, they are too academic for a public library).

For interlibrary loan, we would need a full article citation (libraries will not lend entire journal issues)--you can have five active requests at a time.  Hopefully you will be able to access WorldCat and submit your requests through it--let me know if you have not done this before and I'll be happy to walk you through it.

And let us know if you continue to have trouble accessing WorldCat!

Best wishes,

Martha/Main Library

For SerialSolutions, start at the Resource Center tab at omahalibrary.org:
