Thanks for asking! We don't have formal classes in typing, but the library does have some materials that might be useful. There are some good typing instruction books and courses in our collection, like Mastering Computer Typing by Sheryl Lindsell-Roberts or Typing and Keyboarding for Everyone by Nathan Levine.

Unaffiliated with the library, there are a number of free (advertising-supported) websites that offer typing practice. The quality of these sites varies widely; you might take a look at Typing.com and TypingClub as a baseline.

The folks over at DoSpace - in the old Borders building at 72nd and Dodge - offer lots of computer instruction and similar opportunities. I would encourage you to give them a call at 402-819-4022 and see if they have any typing classes in the works.

Thanks for using AskOPL!
