Hi there!

I've also put in a request for it for you, so we'll see if we can get one of them to go through. It's possible that because the book was published three years ago it is past our time limit for purchasing new books. If this is the case, your best bet will be to get it through Inter-Library Loan. To do that, you can follow the link at the bottom of the home page under the My Library tab. Within the page that it opens is a link to WorldCat, the system we use to facilitate ILL. Log in to your library account through WorldCat, find the book, and request to have it sent to OPL. One thing to be aware of is that for ILL books you will be charged for shipping, which could be from two to seven dollars.

If you have any questions about ILL, you can call 402-444-4857.

Thanks for using AskOPL!

  1. I wish I could go directly to entering a title when I get to OPL's site instead of having to make another step first.
Also, I haven't been able to find space to enter the title of a book I want. Lots of categories but not a convenient space.
Please consider In the Land of a Thousand Gods: A History of Asia Minor in the Ancient World by Christian Marek. It is new; I didn't expect it would be here yet.
    Thank you for your consideration.
