Thanks for asking! Though it hadn't been on my radar previously, it looks like Overdrive discontinued the .WMA format in 2014 and has been gradually phasing WMA audiobooks out of library collections across the country. All audiobooks are now available in .MP3 format. (As well as the browser-based Overdrive Listen, which won't apply to your iPod Nano 7.)

Now, that said, the .MP3 format has broader compatibility than .WMA, and should be a viable format for your Nano even if you're using Overdrive on a Windows PC. Unless there's something really unusual about the technology in play here, I'd encourage you to try checking out and downloading .MP3 format audiobooks - they should work exactly as you're used to.

If not, please email back or call 402-444-4800 and we'll try to figure out what's going on. The Overdrive Help section may have some useful FAQ or video tutorial content for you, too.

Thanks for using AskOPL!
