Can a book available at the Florence location be sent to the Saddlebrooke location for checkout?

Thanks for asking! Sure can. All twelve of the Omaha Public Library locations share our collection, so materials can be requested from branch to branch and returned wherever's convenient. You can place the request in our online catalog (click 'Place a hold' by the book you want to request, then enter your library barcode and PIN), call any of our libraries (402-444-4800 is always reliable), or email me back here with your card number and the name of the book you'd like to request. 

Staff at Florence will pull the book and our courier service will deliver it up to Saddlebrook. It usually takes about two days for books to transfer. You should receive an email notice from us once the book is ready to be picked up.
