I'm loking for a book called "la maleta del viajero

Unfortunately we don't have that title in our system.  I also tried the English translation (The Traveller's Baggage, The Traveler's Luggage, The Traveler's Suitcase) with no results.  

From what I can tell this looks like a book that was originally written in Portuguese called A Bagagem do Viajante, by Nobel Prize-winning author Jose Saramago.  We do have a few of his other works in Spanish.  Just follow the link on his name above to see a list.

However there was never a Spanish or English translation of A Bagagem do Viajante published in the United States.  There is one long-shot chance:  One library in Florida has a Spanish version that was published in Barcelona, Spain.  It is possible you could get it via Interlibrary Loan... but like I said, it's a long shot!  They might not want to loan out the only copy in the United States.
