Answer

Thanks for asking! I'm seeing quite a few books that may be a good fit. There are some broad themes/categories of work that may be more or less relevant depending on what you're interested in - I'll start with several titles, and would be happy to offer more options along the lines of whichever seems most like what you're hoping to find.

For a more medical/informational look at the mental and physical side of post-treatment recovery, books like Julie Silver's After Cancer Treatment

For biographical, reflective survivor narratives, Carrie Host's Between me and the River, Perseverance, or the lovely ACS photo-diary Picture Your Life After Cancer

For a more biographical, upbeat survivor narrative, books like Geralyn Lucas' Then Came Life or Robert Schimmel's Cancer on $5 A Day.

We happen to have a particularly wide range of books on physical and psychological adjustment after breast cancer treatment - Marisa Weiss' reissued Living Well Beyond Breast Cancer or After the Cure - the latter's particularly of interest for folks who are having a difficult post-recovery recovery.

Like I say, there's more out there, and we'll be happy to help you find material that lines up with what you're hoping to find. Please feel free to email back or call 402-444-4800 with questions.
