Doe OPL carry annual reports from large corporations such as BAnk of America, GM or Berkshire Hathaway?
Thanks for asking! For the most part, no - we did collect annual reports for many years, but about a decade ago the costs associated with collecting and storing them outran the use they were getting. We've got some old Berkshire Hathaway reports still rattling around, but nothing more current than the early 2000s.
Conveniently, though, that's right around the time that online tools became the simpler way to find annual reports. Most companies, especially major players like Berkshire, Bank of America, and GM, publish their annual reports online. AnnualReports.com is a surprisingly reliable hub for finding them if you're not sure where to find a company's website or investor relations divisions.
Rank and Filed is a tremendous resource for searching out the SEC filings that publicly traded companies are required to report each year. It takes one of the least transparent databases on Earth (SEC's EDGAR) and makes it halfway useful.
If you're looking for historic annual reports, you're likely to have more success with an academic library focusing on business. Just to be sure I don't miss any potential resources for you - is there a particular type of information you're looking for from the reports? Financials? Executives?
