Under normal circumstances you should be able to request the item using your library card number and PIN through the book's page in our online catalog. Titles on order will appear there and can be requested once we can get a purchase order in for the book, typically about 3mos ahead of publication. There are a few little glitches that may interfere, at which point it's usually easiest to do exactly what you've done and contact the library. I went ahead and added you to the request list for 'Double Fudge Brownie Murder' in its regular print version - if you were looking for large print or audiobook, or would like it sent to a library other than Willa Cather, feel free to email back or call 402-444-4800.

Thanks for contacting us! If you found the book in our catalog but were unable to request it, could you describe any error messages you received? We can try to troubleshoot out what was going on, if you're curious.
