I'm looking for a book, I can't remember the name, I think it's called "the great....." And on the front it as a sketch of a man in turbin. It is a spy book, based around the British empire and Russia. Apparently it's quite rare and goes for quite abit of money on eBay. Can anyone help.

Thanks for asking! The term "The Great Game" is frequently applied to Britain and Russia's wrangling for influence in India and Central Asia during the 19th century. My best guesses for the book you're looking for are "Flashman in the Great Game" by George MacDonald Fraser (fictional, a humorous look at the topic through the eyes of a scoundrel of a British spy) and from a nonfiction standpoint Peter Hopkirk's 1992 study of the era, The Great Game: the Struggle for Empire in Central Asia

Hopefully one of those fits the bill! Feel free to email back or call 402-444-4800 with further questions.
