Having trouble getting into the new (old) World Herald Archives -- how do I do that?

Thanks for asking! First off, try this direct link. Outside the library you'll be prompted for the 14 digits of your library card number.

If the direct link doesn't work properly, I'll include some screenshots below to talk you through finding it - the archive will stay on our main page's rotator for a while, but it can be a little unintuitive to find it elsewhere in the site. The OWH archives are located in the same Newsbank database that hosts our 1984-present OWH coverage, it's just a different module (with a better interface.) 

To access the archives, visit our Resource Center at omahalibrary.org. Under the category "Newspapers, Magazines, and Journals" select the "Omaha World-Herald" and click the blue search prompt. 

After punching in your library card, you'll be taken to this screen: 

Following the topmost link will take you in to the historic OWH archives, which should look like this:
